Event Description:
With an increasingly skilled workforce and attractive business environment, more and more European companies are expanding into the Southeast region. To make the most of the opportunities available, all small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) need to ensure their intellectual property rights (IPR) are protected and enforceable in the ASEAN countries (Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam) they conduct business with.
This webinar will introduce the IPR landscape in the ASEAN region, identify the potential pitfalls for European businesses and describe fundamental measures your company should take to protect its innovations and competitive edge. The topics you will learn about include:
- The cornerstones of IPR protection in the ASEAN region
- Assessing and protecting your IP on a limited budget
- Protecting your innovations – patent and trademark registration
- Avoiding the IPR pitfalls in ASEAN countries
- IPR enforcement action
- Free support services available for Italian businesses
